Somerville Model Saab 9000 Turbo 16 Car Dealer's Limited Edition

We have for sale a very rare, vintage, original Somerville Model Saab 9000 Turbo 16 Car Dealer's Limited Edition, with Marble Plinth.

The model was produced in a limited edition of only 122, and was only available to Saab Dealers and Swedish Embassy trade delegation officials in the 1980s. Most of the Somerville limited editions usually retail from £100 to over £240.

The car is in its original presentation box and has never been displayed: a great present idea!

The markings on the bottom of the car say SAAB 9000 turbo 16, Somerville, 1984. Made in England. Somerville.

The detailing on the model is exquisite. Since it is a Somerville model, it's very good quality, hand built, and quite heavy! The car is black with a tan interior. The registration is LYA 623.

The car fixes, via velcro, to a heavy cream/beige coloured marble plinth. The bottom of the plinth has four felt ‘feet’ to stop it scratching those lovely wooden or glass polished desks!

This would make a great addition to any Sommerville collection or as a desk ornament for a car enthusiast.
