Pau Preto is an exquisite wood material sourced in Mozambique, which is used to create this classic beauty. The wood is a blend of unique light green, yellow, and brown colors with distinctive grain patterns. Pau Preto is exceptionally strong, therefore it’s most often used in turned objects, where it is considered to be among the very finest of all turning woods—capable of holding threads and other intricate details extremely well.
The All American ™ Pau Preto collection is available in stunning chrome, rose gold or gunmetal accents and features Conklin’s original 1916 patented spring loaded rocker clip. Elegantly engraved along the barrel is the Conklin® trademark and All American™ logo, while the backside of the cap displays a limited edition number exclusively for each pen. This unique collection is available in fountain pen and rollerball modes, Limited Edition of 898 pcs for each mode. All fountain pens are outfitted with a smooth premium stainless steel JoWo nib, displaying the brand name and marked with special crescent-shaped breathing hole only unique to Conklin®.
The nib is available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Stub, and Omniflex point sizes. The fountain pen uses international cartridges or a converter (included). The rollerball pen accepts standard international rollerball refills. Each Conklin® All American Pau Preto pen is sold in a luxury gift box with a custom-designed sleeve.
